The Lyrics

This is Bubya's official "dis-election" campaign songas sung by Bubya himself (backed by the Carlyle Group)
There was Rockefeller, Buffett and my Papa too,
who had carried out for years what was required to do:
Giving finance to Osama and the Taliban
to have 9-11 justify our Master Plan--
Let's roll!
Skull & Bonesmen, let's roll!
Our Fourth Reich fascist state galore
shall rise up from the terror war.

We be makin' lots of money, and it's lots of fun,
in a phony war on drugs that simply won't get won;
We then blame it on the drug lords every other day,
while we keep it off the airwaves that they're CIA--
Let's roll!
All you dope fiends, let's roll!
If it's opium we're gonna score,
we'll have to have an Afghan war.

While talkin' on the telephone with Tony Blair,
he told me of a forgery we now could share:
"Tis safe for us to lie as Kelly can't refute
'Iraq bought Niger yellow-cake to build a nuke'--"
Let's roll!
Big Oil addicts, let's roll!
If we're gonna go-for-oil & more,
we'll have to have a new Gulf War.

So what if I get caught for outin' Valerie Plame
and my approval rating will be totally lame?
I'll say the Ayatollahs are too uppity
and put the blame on them for startin' World War 3--
Let's roll!
Zionazis, let's roll!
If elections are to be no more,
we'll have to have a third world war.

Ethnic cleansing of the West Bank as a policy
will then follow to get rid of all its true Israelis:
like its Christians, many Muslims, all Samaritans,
who have Jacob's DNA written in their hands--
Let's roll!
All you Khayzars, let's roll!
Anti-Christ is what I'm shootin' for,
crusading tribulation wars.
If you don't understand what is meant by "Zionazis" please look athttp://www.theglobalist.com/DBWeb/StoryId.aspx?StoryId=3025which better explains the mindset of religious zealots like Bubya, many fundies who support him, as well as the Christian Zionists of Bubya's own sect of fundies.

Naaah, Dubya doesn't have enough sinister charisma or savoir-faire to be a slick, sophisticated, brilliant-sounding Anti-Christ..... but this parody still rocks!

(SOTM) I donīt mind political satire, can be quite funny sometimes, but with "Zionazis" youīre overtoeing the hateline here, arenīt you? Written good, but got no LOLs from me, just some minor smiles at some clever lines.

(SOTM) I don't usually jump on bandwagons...but I gotta go with K1 on this one...

Way too political for me.

SOTM -- with all due respect to your attempt to provide a link, if you use an inflammatory term like that, it's probably best to take responsibility for providing sufficient context in the body of the piece itself to clarify your meaning and point of view. And even when that's done in the most artful way possible, you're still running a high risk of having people completely tune out (at best).

(SOTM July) Just keep repeating to yourselves, "...it's only a parody...it's only a parody....it's only a parody..."

Hate to sound like a pusswad, but this was a little over the top for me, too. It sounds like it would go over well at a an Anarchists meeting. High on the creativity, low on the funny and appeal for all. 434

(SOTM) Really not funny, too political, boring and depressing, but interesting.......

(SOTM) I'm going with Ki, Arwen, Ahnonamis, and lots of others. Not funny and too political.

SOTM I am completely apolitical, and they rarely make me laugh

(SOTM) Some fine lines in this one, and can I just clarify (being an uneducated Aussie lout and all) that 'Let's Roll' was a Nixon cliche? If it is, then this is funny. If it isn't, your parody was gosh dang awful and deserves to be skewered on a pitchfork. Slowly. ;) Good work.

(SOTM) I'm with Luke, some really fine lines in this one and the tune of the original was just the right touch to keep it from bogging itself down.

Some lovely lines in a very sharp parody

I remember this from the first time you posted it:
http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/elvispresley57.shtml
I found your use of "Zionazis" in that version off-putting (as did some of those who commented), so I thought maybe this would be a revision without that term. But I just read the two versions side-by-side and can't spot any lyrical differences. So why the resubmission?
Anyhoo, off-putting or not (and methinks you intended it to be), there's some clever satire here.
