The Lyrics

For One Week Notice, 12/1/2017. It's good to get thinking again.
I could be your man
But you don’t know who I am
One day you’ll acquiesce
When I have your address

This all could be real
Soon my love you will feel
With my gifts I’ll impress
When I have your address

Why I’ll send balloons when I can
Croon out tunes when I can
I’ll send you roses every day
No price is too steep
I hardly can sleep
Just the thought of touching you makes me so gay

So sneaky
Followed you home secretly
Just some stealthy success
And I found your address.

Why, I dress up as your mailman
Study your home’s floor plan
I parked in your driveway
I dig through your trash heap
And smell where you sleep
But then your pit bull barked and I ran away

Is that for me?
Is it true love’s memory?
Surely this is in jest,
I am served as a pest?

Cause with these officers standing by my side
I couldn’t break away even if I tried
Cause I’m handcuffed at your address!

I wish you expanded upon who you were stalking in this tune I know that you said it was a sequel to "Stalking Miley" but it's a bit more broad than that. This was really funny though. I LOVED the idea of this guy dressing up as a mailman to spy on her lol

Welcome to the world of parody writing again, Medemia! It's a shame that I never have read your stuff (which I see is only about as old as my son!). When I get a chance, I'll read and comment. As far as this one goes, great job! I really like it when a parody tells a story that builds to a nicely-wrapped up conclusion.

Another blast from the past! Good to see you on here again. Fun song, I liked how the story flowed.

I'm sure all us parodist with hundreds of groupies hanging around outside can relate to this! ;-)

Well I don't know about those groupies Peter mentions, but I certainly can relate to dressing up as a mailman (my job in real life fyi). Actually used to work with a guy who got fired for peeking in a woman's mail slot. Repeatedly. Naked. Okay, not naked, but still. Anyway. Welcome back! Well done, and like others have said, good job telling a story. Happy endings make me so gay.

Matthias, I did mention I was thinking about making this a Stalking Miley sequel but it isn't. I wanted to keep this more in the time frame of the original song so Miley was out, as well as the original Google search to find her address. This was fun though. I have missed it.
