Parody Song Title:

"Buy A Ford!"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

As General Motors and Chrysler struggle under government control, Ford continues to remain solvent without bailouts and government takeover. The U.A.W. has now targeted Ford. Wow, who could have seen that coming? ;D

Chrysler and G.M., what of them, what of them?
Government runs them! Hawk up phlegm, hawk up phlegm!
Free enterprise gone away - socialism now holds sway.
All the union might set to fight - Ford's in sight.
Ford must stand alone to the bone. Grunt and groan.
Soon Barack's bureaucracy will control the industry.

Buy a Ford! Why, good Lord?
'Cause the government's not on their board.
Why is there no wisdom? It's socialism!
The left wing must have its reward.
Car czar rules, Barack drools, using government funds as his tools.
Do not be vexed, see what they'll do next!
But if you don't like this infringement buy a Ford!

It was so simple - control some and you will control all. ;D

May not agree with all content, being a die-hard liberal...but it makes for good political spoofing, and has a funny premise..good parody work

You put an old gem to good use although I don't agree with your POV. Did you read my parody of Lili Marlene?

Very good parody, and I would like to see all union labor in the United States ended. Unions are increasingly getting into coercion and mistreatment of employees, they are full of a**holes, and I would cut my own head off with a chainsaw before joining one. I am so much of an anti-union person that I have started spitting on parked cars with organized-labor-supporting bumper stickers, and cutting cars with such stickers off in traffic. 5s to you.

Americans lust for the safe, hands-Free lifestyle in the US . . however when it comes to buying US-designed/manufactured products, they desert the land that feeds them ? ! . . so it costs a little more . . can't they chalk it up to building a better/stronger US economy? . . or what about 'going Green' and buying used ' US vehhicle . . . .

Ford is still living on the edge - they don't need a union problem now. Nice Parody.

The reason Ford can stay solvent (for maybe a few more years) is that they're selling off their european cars to save home base, Volvo for one is on their way out (so is Saab too BTW since our Swedish government isn't spending a penny) which means they're lining up like desperate drunken cougars five minutes before closing time hoping and praying for a Chinese prince charming to save their asses. My estimate is that five years from now there won't be any independent car companies left in the west, only some government owned in the US and mid Europe, the rest will have moved to Asia. End rant transmission! :-)

Good job OMR, 555. Now can you write a Saab story? ;-)
