[Sergeant Reuben ]
Help the pirates screw the songs of acts indecent

[Background Villagers ]
Acts Indecent

[Sergeant Reuben ]
Now the time has come for me to take a stand

[Background Villagers ]
Take a stand

[Sergeant Reuben ]
When Johnny D and Stuey Poo said they need men

[Background Villagers ]
Said they need men

[Sergeant Reuben ]
I volunteered to join their merry band

[Background Villagers ]
Merry band

[Sergeant Reuben ]
When Lewd Submitters pound the site with smutter

[Background Villagers ]
Site with smutter

[Sergeant Reuben ]
When vocabulary duty's to be done

[Background Villagers ]
To be done.

[Sergeant Reuben ]
I'll take one salacious line after another

[Background Villagers ]
Ter another

[Sergeant Reuben ]
And replace it with an awful groaning pun

[Background Villagers ]
Ah!

[Sergeant Reuben ] & [Background Villagers ]
When vocabulary duty's to be done, to be done,
I'll just come up with an awful groaning pun.

[Sergeant Reuben ]
When the Lewd Submitters write songs of my Cindy

[Background Villagers ]
Of my Cindy

[Sergeant Reuben ]
Of erotic acts they banter with a grin

[Background Villagers ]
With a grin

[Sergeant Reuben ]
I'll defend her from the lyrics they print, see

[Background Villagers ]
Rics they print see

[Sergeant Reuben ]
I won't let them commit the Cardinal Cin

[Background Villagers ]
Cardinal Cin

[Sergeant Reuben ]
Fight the Lewd Ones songs of jumping on my mother

[Background Villagers ]
On my mother,

[Sergeant Reuben ]
Of tasty fruits suggesting naughty fun

[Background Villagers ]
Naughty fun

[Sergeant Reuben ]
I'll grab my pen and stand up with my brothers

[Background Villagers ]
With my brothers

[Sergeant Reuben ]
Til songs of Fore-play mean a hole-in-one!

[Background Villagers ]
Ah!

[Sergeant Reuben ] & [Background Villagers ]
When vocabulary duty's to be done, to be done,
I'll just come up with an awful groaning pun.

Quite alright Rick, I didn't either until I wrote this/played the midi =)

This is one of my very favorite G&S songs. Well done. A little sketchy on the pacing in a few places, but not bad. I do like "vocabulary" in place of constabulary. Let's hope Stuey Poo is maturing his melodious little plan!

Yes, Stray Pooch, it IS mature (or maturely immature) and I'm just dusting and polishing, then it will be up on Tuesday - and it's all the better for this addition, so thanks Jeff :-) - 555

(ABC3) Loved the "Cardinal Cin", mother, and hole-in-one lines. Very easy to follow the MIDI.

Okay, same comment I left on the PWP version, and same vote: 555.

(ABC3-H) ah, memories - I recall you getting this in just under the deadline, and the whole third act then fell sweetly into place, Sergeant Reuben - bravo, good man!

(ABC3H) Ah...The Pirates Who Penstanzas; whatever happened to them? ;-) G&S for dumb chumps like me. Brilliant addition to the epic, Jeff. 555

To Stuart: When doesn't Jeff get things done right under the deadline?................ To Jeff: Ahhhh, PWP what a fun time....
