Song Parodies -> "In the Punafore We Hail"

Original Song Title:

"On the Pinafore We Sail"

Original Performer:

Gilbert and Sullivan

Parody Song Title:

"In the Punafore We Hail"

Parody Written by:

Rick Duncan

The Lyrics

This is from a complete parody of "The H.M.S. Pinafore". The concept is the whole thing takes place in a bar like "Cheers" And Yes, it took a lot of beer to write it.
CHORUS:
In the Punafore we hail
And we sing off-key and loudly
For we drink a lot of ale
It's a duty we do proudly
With our time so free
Full of lies are we
So our tale are hard to swallow
When the keg runs dry
We don't moan or cry
For there's plenty more to follow
Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Oh, boy!
