Song Parodies -> "Extensively Remodelled, Now I'm Mostly Artific-ial"

Original Song Title:

"I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major-General"

Parody Song Title:

"Extensively Remodelled, Now I'm Mostly Artific-ial"

Parody Written by:

Kristof Robertson

The Lyrics

For Cher, Joan, Jacqui Stallone and that Wildenstein woman....
Extensively remodelled, now I'm mostly artific-ial
My use of plastic surgery is somewhat injudic-ial
I used to have a navel, but it's now a dimple fac-ial
My nose became a duplex when it used to be palat-ial
I've paid a lot of moolah for my surgeon to eradicate
My cellulite, my crow's feet and the many other bits I hate
That Lopez woman came along and made me feel inferior
But now she can't compete with my inflatable posterior!

ALL:
That J-Lo slut may have a butt, but your ass is sup-rear-ior! (x3)

My chest has been implanted with the finest Chinese sili-cone
There's so much hardware in there I can use them as a telephone
With my remote I make them rotate; they are rather spec-ial
From top to toe, a plastic ho and mostly artific-ial

ALL:
Beneath the flesh and blood she is pneumatic and electrical
From top to toe, a plastic ho and mostly artific-ial!

My husband made a killing selling weaponry and alcohol
His fortune has been squandered on his loving Frankenbarbie doll
I shine at formal functions, meeting actors, kings and heads of state
And none of them would guess I haven't blinked since 1988
I've studied the collected works of Moore, Electra, Anderson
I've used a form of Botox that was siphoned from a panda's bum
There isn't a procedure on this earth I wouldn't contemplate
And I'd drool over fashion mags if only I could salivate

ALL:
She would drool over fashion mags if only she could salivate! (x3)

Well I've been nipped and tucked more times than f***ed in case you're unaware
I've got the features of a child; some little kid from Delaware
My use of plastic surgery is somewhat injudic-ial
Extensively remodelled, now I'm mostly artific-ial

ALL:
Her use of plastic surgery is somewhat injudic-ial
Extensively remodelled, now she's mostly artific-ial!

I used to be gargantuan; a fleshy, flabby behemoth
And so I had to have my stomach stapled; now fresh air's enough
The ordinary riff raff may think I've been treated heinously
Because when out to lunch, I take my first course intravenously
I tried to give it up, but after 3 days I began again
I've got a job in retail: I'm a department store mannequin
I never fly because my ears fall off when I'm at altitude
I want a custom facial transplant like that John Travolta dude
I'll be a gem, crème de la crème, perfection anatomical
Six mill it's costin': like Steve Austin, sexy and bionical!

ALL:
Six mill it's costin': like Steve Austin, sexy and bionical! (x3)

If you have seen a facelift, the procedure's quite draconian
But I'll endure any pain to end up M. Jacksonian
It has been said I'm off my head, but now it is offic-ial
Extensively remodelled and completely artyou know the rest!

ALL:
A two-for-one on tits and bums; the offer is conditional
So go and get remodelled, and be fully artific-ial!!!

Hilarious!! I was going to point out a line, then kept finding other funny ones. If you think you're going to get some 5's....well...yea! (or more) ;)

Kristof: You should've waited a couple of months for "Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" to come out. You could've put in a Darth Vader line. Nonetheless, three genuine fives. Leo: You would. (Just a joke! Right? Right?) Rick: Julia Louis-Dreyfus told that joke on "Seinfeld" 13 years ago. (About Teri Hatcher, except they were real, and, at 40, they're still spectacular.)

Once again, you prove a worthy challenger for the Mighty Spaff. Just absolute BRILLIANCE, nothing less, but possibly more...I just don't have the words to describe your ability. I would like to see a parody contest with you, Spaff, Johnny D., Claude Prez, John Barry, Rick D., Phil A., Arwen, AFW, Alvin Rhodes, and anyone else with the cohones...all doing the same song, picked arbitrarily, and submitted the same day...without names attached to them. Now THAT would be a challenge and an awesome treat for the rest of us putz to witness! . 5's, needless to say :-)
Dee Range - April 04, 2005 - Report this comment
I forgot another of my favorite writers, Stuart M., for this contest. Can't leave our fav Aussie out!

HO. LEE. MO. LEE.

FABulous, Kristof. Unbelievable!! This is one of those songs that I've never been able to master...or even...um...(what's the luke warm opposite of master?)...

Anyway...hat's off to anyone who even tries it...but this is just about is perfect as it can be. After much surgery, of course...anything...or anyone...can be perfect...=)

And now...on to Mr. Range's suggestion...I have a couple of things to say...

Ho. Lee. Mo. Lee. (again) Dee...the fact that you included me in THAT group floors me. I'm beside myself. Honestly. Thanks for thinking of me. But...um...psst...the inclusion of SM as your favorite Aussie kind of creates a problem, for the author of THIS parody...is also an Aussie. A Saucy Aussie...if you must know.

Secondly, if said contest gets off the ground, I'm calling RIGHT NOW that the song has to be "Luka." For no reason whatsoever. Just because. It's a random suggestion. Seriously.

gee, if that's not in the top 5 parodies ever....I kept collecting favourite lines as I was reading it, but my hard drive seized up...

see everyone! - what did I say, over on the message board, about KR taking all before him this year - "haven't blinked since 1988" (I had to get one fave in) - and watch KR cream the "B" awards too (you read it here first ;-) )

Leo Jay's masterpiece and now this. Gilbert and Sullivan will be slinking down in their coffins at all of this brilliance! 555

WoW!! Thanks for the support, people! The idea came to me when watching the new series of Dr. Who here in the UK...it featured a character who was the last human, and had so much plastic surgery she was just a piece of skin with a face stretched across a frame like a trampoline. Dee; your comments were too kind....Spaff will take some catching up with, but thanks anyway! As for your suggestion re. a contest; that's a cracking idea! They did something like that recently with the "Who can it be now?" contest, where writers assumed new pseudonyms...but if you want to co-ordinate it and post it in the "Song Contest" threads on the messageboard, then I for one would be in...to everyone else; cheers!! Three other special mentions to Stu (my man in Melbourne), Alvin (for always giving my stuff a look) and Arwen (just because she's a hot elf) for their support. Bye!!

TMGLTM, Kristof, but I especially appreciate all of the triple rhymes you pulled off (e.g., draconian/Jacksonian, heinously/intravenously). What I said before, but with more "wow"s this time.
