The Lyrics

Once again, Just moving one of my previous 2 parodies onto this user to bump up my total. I like this one. I am a big fan of SG-1 and episodes involving the Asgard.
Now, the old and ancient Asgard had some troubles of their own
They’d found a little metal bug that didn’t have a home
They took it in and studied it but then it got away
And it multiplied and killed them all the very next day

Chorus
But, the bugs came back, the very next day
The bugs came back, that’s why they call them replicators
Bugs came back, the very next day-ay-ay

The Asgard knew that they could lose their native galaxy
And the replicator’s next objective could be you and me
They thought that they could beat the bugs with high technology
But the bugs would just absorb it all and cause them all to flee

CHORUS

The next time that we saw the bugs again in outer space
In orbit of the planet earth, to eat the human race
When landing SG1 blew up the engines and they crashed
With the spaceship and the replicators well and truly smashed

CHORUS

The bugs were heading slowly to the Asgard’s lovely home
They’d land and eat the planet to create more buggy clones
The Asgard had a cool warship that wasn’t quite yet done
So they blew it up in hyperspace to kill the bugs and won

CHORUS

Later though the bugs got on a Russian Submarine
They killed the crew; I’m sure by now you know the old routine
So SG-1 went in the sub and killed the bugs once more
And the replicators and the sub are on the ocean floor

CHORUS

The Asgard sent a message really far out into space
It told the bugs to congregate into a single place
They halted them by slowing time down to a snail’s pace
To give them time to find out how to kill the bug’s whole race.

CHORUS

The replicators sped up time to rapidly evolve
And stopping them became a problem much more hard to solve
Advanced so far to near enough invulnerability
They left the Asgard to attack the human’s galaxy

CHORUS

So finally the bugs attacked the Humans and Jaffa
Who had a weapon strong enough to kill all bugs that are
Connecting up the stargate system simultaneously
They killed all of the replicators, that I guarantee

And they won’t come back, the very next day
They won’t come back; we wiped them out for good this time
They won’t come back, there just isn’t any way
I’m sure that we left no way….
