Song Parodies -> "We'll Sue"

Original Song Title:

"Sweet Sue"

Original Performer:

Jazz Standard

Parody Song Title:

"We'll Sue"

Parody Written by:

Old Man Ribber

The Lyrics

Let me make this clear - I'm not bashing ALL trial lawyers. This is pointed at that breed of unscrupulous shysters who used to be called "ambulance chasers." If you are an honorable attorney, please disregard this. ;D

Want some quick money? We're the ones to see!
We'll sue - for you
Broke a fingernail? Then some doc we'll nail!
We'll sue - for you
In Obama Care - tort reform's not there
We're the Dems biggest contributors, it's true
For all your disputes - meritless law suits
We'll sue - for you

For a load of cash - all your foes we'll smash
We'll sue - for you
Would have been such fun had John Edwards won
We'll sue - for you
As our fortunes mount, justice doesn't count
We can make juries do what we want them to!
Mr. Ribber, sport - We'll see you in court!
We'll sue! Screw you!

I'll now have a new amiright name - The Defendant! ;D

You could have gotten 5 funny points for just the "honorable attorney" reference alone. Isn't that an oxymoron? (Or maybe just a moron...) ;)

I happen to be an honorable attorney (just kidding)! No, really, I'm no lawyer. I was reading/singing your parody and I was cracking up....hard! Legally hilarious, as I've told Guy in yesterday's parody when he wrote "Legal Woman"! Suing may be wrong, but it seems right, especially when it comes to money! You just sued this fellow $555 dollars for this one!

@Fiddlegirl: Sh*t! This mind-meld stuff has gone too far -- you took the oxyironic comment right out of my beak!

OMR, the only place where I would disagree is the intro disclaimer that you're not bashing *all* trial lawyers. I'm forced to deal with the scumbags regularly in my business (I wear six condoms, a neoprene wetsuit, and a raincoat), and they're the slime of the earth. And that's just the ones who are on MY side! So don't even get me started... just take the Fives and some gratitude for the poke at them.

ok, one example only: I have to proofread all of their work and point out their mistakes -- and one actually tried to *charge* me for his time spent in correcting his own errors that I pointed out :P ... maybe that's why I'm too nit-picky here?
