The Lyrics

This also is not (technically) about anatomy. This time I mean courage, determination, bravery, nerve, or even chutzpah. ;D

When I taught music in high school,
This story cannot be denied.
My last principal was a damn fool.
He'd always take the parent's side.

No ball - no courage,
Just hear him whine.
Born to discourage,
And born without a spine.

Pols in the Washington Beltway
All talk like the heroes of old,
'Til bosses and lobbyists each day
Say "Jump!" and we watch them all fold.

No balls in D.C.
No guts are there.
Where palms are greasy
Nobody's got a pair.

What are today's parent's doing?
Don't stand up to kids! Be their friends!
No rules, and I see trouble brewing.
Without discipline there's bad ends.

It's not "bewildren"
Where the blame falls.
Folks fear their children
'Cause parents have no balls.

Will I be able to keep the "balls" rolling on Monday? Tune in and find out. ;D

Sort of fits with my entry today, the story of a young boy raised by a "wicked, ungodly woman", and who came to a bad end.

I've been a teacher in private institutes, so tell me about it. Money talks and the customer is god. Government schools, at least in Oz, tended to be more supportive, at least in my experience.

Minor spelling points: the apostrophe in parent's doesn't belong - it's a normal plural. Also, you could spell 'bewild'rin' in the standard way and it will still rhyme with children. I appreciate this sort of input on my own parodies so hope you don't mind my pointing them out. 555s anyway.

@Lifeliver: You refer to the second instance of "parent's" as the first instance is possessive (for a single parent, which OMR should have found unusual during his teaching days, although not today), so "parents'" is truer.
@OMR: Your middle section about D.C. is related to the others, bemoaning how tomorrow's and many of today's voters are being or have been reared.

Thanks Barry - quite right. I didn't make it clear which instance I was referring to. It was indeed the second one.

...and he's got no balls, and she's got no balls, but we've got the biggest lack of balls, all...
