Song Parodies -> "Shy And Tight"

Original Song Title:

"Silent Night"

Parody Song Title:

"Shy And Tight"

Parody Written by:

Tommy Turtle

The Lyrics

OS written in 1816, in German. For fans of syllable-matching, the three-verse English OS is here.

Si-i-lent, quite
Nary a fight
Wool is warm
Hall is tight
Lamb, young virgin; Brother, it's wild!
No impregnance, so render no child
Deep in heavenly sheep
Peace from heavenly piece

Pile on white
Whole flockin' night
Shepherds ache
All, excite
Hornies stream from ranches afar
Leathery hosts swing; "Hallelujah!"
Spliced behavior is porn
Twice-depraved cure for horn!

Lie-in-lint night
Wholly right
Wondrous bod;
Lamb's lure: bright
Ragin' wet streams from thy holey place
With the dawn, see me beaming face
Pleases horde with thigh berth
Shee-eep's restored all my mirth!

I know I'm going straight to Hell, but I figure so long as I can keep Satan laughing... © 2008 Tommy Turtle. All rights reserved. E-mail: tomm...@yahoo.com

So, how many sheep-boffing parodies does that make on amiright? :-)

Though I be butt a simple follower, this was the beast I've herd! Bleat-antly and udderly perfect substit'ewe'shuns... Lines like 'Deep in heavenly Sheep' and 'Lie-in-lint night' just don't get any better. Now, we're all chamois with anticipation of your musical follow-on, "Swell Hole, Dolly!"

alvin, thanks (lol)

McKludge: Do you mean overall, or by moi? I'm not the only lamb-lover here, ya know. (For one thing, there's the entire state of Idaho.) Anyway, I think this is "Number 9", to quote the Beatles. So, are ewe in awe, or complaining? :-)

Sheepish in Seattle: Thanks for your Ram-charged commentary! And if you ever head south, you must meet my friend, "Sheared in Santa Barber-a"!

UnKnownVotress, :) :) :)

Only Ewe...
Just Ewe and I...
I Need Ewe...
Ewe Are The Sunshine Of My Life...
Ewe Made Me Love Ewe...
I'll stop now

Invisible Boy: Are you citing actual sheeparodies by others here at AIR, or are those suggestions? lol :-)

btw, while one can always sub "ewe" for "you" anywhere, ewe'll note that the word "ewe" doesn't appear in this parody at all. And it was subbed for the letter "U" in this one:

No pregnance, eh? I seem to remember a rather dreamy poem with a sheep-child in it, but for the life of me cannot recall what it was. Any help from the more literate than I bunch?
Tommy Turtle - September 15, 2012 - Report this comment
@ Peregrin: Probably will keep the shell, as protection from the pitchfork, but the whole ectotherm thing makes us even more active in hot weather! ... but wool take your wise advice, and leave the wool behind, so to speak. (OMG, that "ending" was ad-libbed while typing -- scary, huh? ;)

@ Meriadoc: Just so long as there isn't a sheep-turtle somewhere, TT is safe .... Never been much into dreamy poems, despite having written a lot of Satyr, but "Fleecy Does She Lie, With Child" comes to mind ... (Lucy/Sky)

Thanks both, for "Double Shot of My Fave Two's Love"! :-D   [1]
