The Lyrics

I don't think I'll ever do the Super 7, but now I'm closer than I was, and I've got ideas for the others, but no time with all my writing; check "If Baseball Integrated Early" and my other stuff at lulu.com, with more to come. As for this, let's just say I thought about doing "Mice Aroma" for "My Sharona" but it didn't totally come together. It made for a nice idea for this song, though, the simplest of the Super 7. So, if I don't have time for this site again, I hope you enjoy my books here http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/FamilyFunandBaseballIfs and thanks and God Bless.
I’m never going to eat in there again.
What they are doing to food is a great sin.

Did they really cook this meat? I think I just heard mooing.
From the looks I do not think their cooks know what they’re doing.
I just received my soup and now big flies I am shooing.
Listen closely can’t you hear my plate sounds like it’s mooing?

I’m never going to eat in there again.
What they are doing to food is a great sin.

Once I thought that “Mice Aroma” was just a mondegreen.
Then I smelled stuff in this kitchen, what a horrible scene.
It would take a couple of years just to make the place clean.
Worse than that is when they made meat even the mice were green.

Now,
Did they really cook this meat? I think I just heard mooing?
I planned to ask about my friend’s soup what that fly was doing.
Then I saw someone else’s food and roaches they were stewing.
And when the chef poked out his head the patrons started booing.

I’m never going to eat in there again.
What they are doing to food is a great sin.

I read ‘bout Teddy Roosevelt’s great Presidential threat.
He’d throw a guy out the window if clean they didn’t get.(1)
But he’d charge with the Rough Riders if this place he could see.
It is so bad that San Juan Hill dirt is in the pantry.

Though I know they did not cook this, I’m now glad it’s just mooing.
It seems some meat was so old that a T. Rex they were brewing.
Now we’re trying to fight it off, with punches and Kung Fu-ing.
I don’t think that I need to say that many will be suing.
(1) As I recall from what I read, Roosevelt told a meat packer that if it weren’t for the dignity of his high office, he’d throw him out the Oval Office window – at the same time ordering that the meat packing industry be cleaned up. So, it was enough of a possible implied threat to fit well with this song.
