Ok--this is really a song fragment, but I will 555 you anyway. Here's a REAL challenge: parody the chant McDonald's used in the '80s to showcase the menu-- "BIG MAC--FILET O FISH--QUARTER POUNDER-FRENCH FRIES--ICY COKE--THICK SHAKE--SUNDAES AND APPLE PIES".

Would anybody happen to know if there are any other lyrics to "Put a Smile on" besides "Put a Smile On / Put a Smile on / Everybody come on / Put a Smile On"

OK, here's a real indication of how old I am. The first McDonald's jingle I remember is "Only forty-seven cents for a three course meal at McDonalds - the drive-in with the golden arches!" (I wonder if anybody else on this site can sing that little ditty!) If nothing else the PRICE (for a burger, fries and shake - 47 cents!) should be a giveaway. Cripes, I'm old . . .

I remember that jingle too. Remember the TV ad where some kid rattles off the chant with the words in BACKWARDS sequence? Then some bewildered adult said, "That's impossible!". I love good burger joints (incl. McD's) and your parody is good too. One clitch BTW: this "child obesity epidemic" is a brainwash pile of bull that gets shovelled on the American public everyday. Granted, too much fast food is harmful but too much of anything is bad for you. Cheers.

I really found it funny that one person was criticizing another person's spelling while, at the same time, making several spelling errors himself/herself as follows: "i just got back from mac donalds and they should force employee's to know this little jingle. both big mac's were with out cheese. oh and lettuce and sauce are spelled wrong! two all beef patties / special sauce / lettuce / cheese / pickles / onions / on a sesame seed bun". Firstly, sentences should start with a capital letter, Therefore, "i" should be "I" and "both" should be "Both". Secondly, "mac donalds" should be one word and should be capitalized. Next, "employee's" and "mac's" are plural words - not possesive words - and, as such, should not have an appostrophe. Also, "big mac's" is a proper noun and should be capitalized, ie. "employees" and "Big Macs". Next, "with out" should be one word, ie. "without". Next, "all beef" should be one hypenated word, ie. "all-beef". Lastly, "oh" and "and" should not be used together. If "oh" is to be used, it should be capitalized because it comes at the start of a sentence. It should be followed by a comma. In this case, instead of using "and", one should use something like "By the way" or "incidentally". I do, however, give him/her credit for not writing "spelt". :-)
