Song Parodies -> "St. Anguish (album w/bonus tracks)"

Original Song Title:

"St. Anger (complete album)"

Original Performer:

Metallica

Parody Song Title:

The Lyrics

Here is the entire "St. Anger" CD and 2 bonus Metallica tracks. All St. Anger parodies include corrected lyrics and MIDIs, which play automatically when the link is clicked. The CD was renamed "St. Anguish" for reasons revealed in the parodies.
I made this parody first before I bought "St. Anger":

No More Fanbase?
parody of the excellent song
"No Leaf Clover" (From the S&M 2-disc release)
Excellent MIDI here for No Leaf Clover

After deciding perhaps I was too harsh on Metallica, I bought St. Anger.
The following parodies expose 90% of St. Anger's flaws.

Lyrics?!
parody of the song
"Frantic"

St. Anger Sucks
parody of the song
"St. Anger"

No Kind Of Lyrics
parody of the song
"Some Kind Of Monster"

Worthless Lyrics
parody of the song
"Dirty Window"

Metallica's Skid
parody of the song
"Invisible Kid"

Might Hurl
parody of the song
"My World"

Recycle Bin
parody of the song
"Shoot Me Again"

Making that one saved me the effort of
doing "Enter Trashcan" to "Enter Sandman".

Sweet Music
parody of the song
"Sweet Amber"

The Queasy Feeling
parody of the song
"The Unnamed Feeling"

Horrified
parody of the song
"Purify"

All Is Wrong Again
parody of the song
"All Within My Hands"

Now, was St. Anger a waste of cash?
If you buy it just to listen to it then the
answer is yes but getting 11 parodies
out of an album was worth the money.
"The Unnamed Feeling" is the best track here,
but the rest pales in comparison to the songs
on "Ride The Lightning"; the CD it was
supposedly going to be like. I present
the 2nd bonus track of the "St. Anguish"
CD, the best song from "Ride The Lightning";
Creeping Death (or, at least a parody of it)

Stinking Breath
parody of the kick-ass song
"Creeping Death" (From the Ride The Lightning CD)
Excellent MIDI for Creeping Death

And now, a MasterCard-style ending:

Cost of the "St. Anger" CD with bonus DVD: $20
Parodies made from the "St. Anger" CD: 10
Parodies made from the bonus DVD
because my CD was improperly coded: 1
Time spent making 11 parodies: ~8 hours
(probably 6 hours more than Metallica did making the OSs)
Number of Motrin taken for headaches caused
by listening to generally horrible music over
and over to ensure good pacing: Too many
Getting my own piece of Metallica:

PRICELESS!

Yes, this was a fine album you produced, Red Ant, with lots of satirical value and some interesting other stuff... (That Queasy Feeling) Pacing was done eerily accurate for someone whose stomach turns deep blue upon hearing most of these songs. Personal favourites of mine include: 'All Is Wrong Again,' No Kind Of Lyrics,' and 'Sweet Music' (which is about the OTHER emotion Metallica can summon within a human body...). I think that everyone who didn't like the 'St. Anger' album might like recordings of 'St. Anguish' as a bonus CD.

Thanks YAD, and an excellent idea on the "St. Anguish" bonus CD. Now, all I need is a free weekend, some third hand recording equipment, trash cans for drums and an angry feline to make it. Oh wait, I think that was done before. ;-)

I'll get back to you when I've listened to 'No Leaf Clover' and 'Creeping Death.'

You are Lame. Everyone has a Perspective, but.......you fail. Anyone who actually likes your renditions at slamming Metallica are more "Pop," then Metallicas music today. You are just getting fans and publicity on slamming bands, had Metallica actually cared to do another "Ride The Lightning," they would have done so. You are a Leech.

I'm getting fans and publicity from slamming bands? Yeah, A whole 2 people have commented and voted on this album in 3+ months. At that rate I'll be famous by the time I'm about 15 million years old. I guess the other 4000+ people who rated St. Anger 1 star on Amazon.com (and the sellers on E-bay who have 1$ price tags on this album) don't have "perspective" either. I'm a Leech? Wow, I don't recall making a lame album and charging fans 20$ for it....
