Parody Song Title:

"I Am The Horn..."

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I am music
With notes of your choosing
I'm sad or amusing
I'm belting or crooning... the tuning's right... every night... my baby
Tunes you like to play
Tunes to light your way
Tunes for night and day
June songs that last til May... every day... this I say... come play me
So when the bells toll in the morn
Be Gabriel, I'll be the horn, blow me

I'm like nutrition
I serve as your kitchen
Your health I'm enrichin'
For that is my mission... my niche in life... fork to knife... don't waste me
Food to fill up your soul
Food that is free of mold
Food that is new not old
Chewed up or swallowed whole... that's my role... hot or cold... come taste me
And when the stars come into view
Hungry you are, I am the food, eat me

We are technology
We have the knowledge, we
Have to acknowledge
community college... my memory's... very weak... upgrade me
Memory's come so far
Memory's raised the bar
Memory's getting large
10 Megs - not what it was
Help my cause... just because... upgrade me
I have a meg, you have a gig
Don't make me beg... please make me big, byte me

One of these is bad enough -- why are there two of these on the list?
Ashkicksass - June 30, 2004 - Report this comment
I think it's a very clever concept, but the pacing was a little hard for me to follow.

Thanks for reading this you guys, but this pacing is right. If you're not sure, you should check a recording before you give somebody a bad pacing score. The other ratings I can't argue with, that's your judgement and god bless you, but please don't say pacing is wrong. I worked very very hard on this.

I'm sorry Nell - I didn't mean to offend you in any way. It was hard for me to follow is all. And in my opinion, in order to get a perfect score on pacing it has to be easy to follow without the music. But that's just my opinion. I gave you a 3 for pacing, a 5 for how funny, and a 4 overall. Like I said, I think it's a really clever concept. But I did struggle with it...

Ashkicksass, I'm sorry I was defensive. I guess I should have matched up exactly the same rythym in each verse to make it more clear. It does fit well when I sing it, but if you are trying to sing it exactly to the original words, it can throw you off. I'm very sorry about that. Thank you for reading this.
