Original Song Title:

"In the Still of the Night"

Original Performer:

Nelson Eddy

Parody Song Title:

"At the Sill in the Night"

Parody Written by:

Al Silver

The Lyrics

In the still of the night,
As I gaze from my window
Slightly up, to the right,
My eyes both stray to you.
In the still of the night,
While my room is in darkness,
I see you, Lois Harkness,
And I humbly say to you,
"Take your bra off. Don't make me wait!
I have binoculars. I'm here since eight!"
Or will she pull the blinds
And fade from sight
As I dream
Of her nude?
She's so rude,
I could kill
At my chill,
Sill
In the night.

Al - Here in Kentucky, at the "still" in the night means making illegal booze. ;D

A little lightweight fun. Pity the men in Nelson Eddy's day who had to resort to that, but pity more their victims, whose privacy was invaded.
