While I was walking down the street

I met a man who asked me for

I took his flyer and opened it up

running for my life
and finally I made it back

I wandered all around the town
until I chanced to meet
a hobo who was looking for
a handout on the street.
I asked him why he'd lost his home.
Was it the tax-cut plan?

and turned around and ran!

We struggled hard for eight long years
a victim of this fate.
And got a chance to get it right
then in 2008.
And when we got a smart President
he told Bush where to go:

The moral of the story is
if greatness you would forge
and you decide to trust your land
to (bump-ba-dump) named George
don't ever blame anyone else.
