555, I agree with you, MTV has just gotten alot worse, I think MTV2 better watch it, as it looks like it is slowly becoming like MTV(I don't have cable right now, used to when living with family. MTV2 is on a public access channel where I live, so I can watch when I'm in the mood).

Only a nerd hates MTV. P.S. They play Music around VMA time,or you could record when they do. P.P.S.MTV2 SHOWS Mostly Music,with occasional reruns of CB or B&B late at night,or new shows. It's ironic that MTV's biggest annual event is the Video Music Awards - how the hell is anyone supposed to know which music videos are worthy of awards, when MTV itself doesn't even play them? Where are these alleged videos? I hear reports of artists shelling out major dinero for videos, but I have no idea where to even look for the damn things. Cinemax? VH1-South America? ESPN-8 ("The Ocho")?

Nicely skewered, Red. I particularly like "Viacommunism" and "eMpTV," and as someone who's lived in Valdez, I'm pleased by that name-drop (even though you're talking about the Exxon tanker).

eMpTV says it all. Great subs and clever word play. I guess their programming change up over the years has been a matter of survival. It is so sad that in order to stay afloat an entertainment business has to continuosly up the anty with more and more sticker shock or should I say schlock. Great bash on worthless "entertainment".

Great satire on the current standings of MTV. If you want music nowadays you'll have to watch VH1 if you want really bad music nowadays you'll have to watch BET but I would much rather watch MTV over BET any day. I don't have a problem with rap (I've done a few Eminem parodies in my day, but the "music" they play on that channel is horrendous!) I really liked the line "Mucus TeleVision" lol

I really liked "Viacommunism", this one didn't give you much room to elaborate against MTV, but it was funny, and well written. . .a couple spots I had trouble pacing, but I'm sure you could make it work. MTV forgot the M a long time ago. . .

(ABC5) I don't know if Aussie gets MTV, but if we do I haven't seen it. I'm pretty sure I saw MTV on the TV Tropes page for 'Network Decay', so you must know what you're on about. I'm also not really familiar with the OS. So...yeah.
