To lead a better life
I need my head to have hair.

Here...waking each day of the year.
Hoping that I'd find some hair on my head
Nobody said
It couldn't grow back up there.

Hair...ensuring my head ain't bare.
Instead of covering both of my knees
And all of my fingers.
I look like I'm from monkeys.

I want it all up here
Instead of on my shoulders, stomach and derriere.
But except for my head it is everywhere...

Where I would rather be bare.
Forever hoping that it would grow back
Thick, long and black
And I would regain some years.

I've got it everywhere.
Even in the places normal people don't have hair.
My eyebrows grow as one; they don't make a pair.

Shaving the hair from my nares.
Wishing I'd have some more hair on my thighs
But much less behind them.
It's driving my eyes to tears.

I have gray hair...most everywhere.
Here, there...but not up here.
