I keep a secret no-one knows,
If people knew they’d think I’m mad.
Something I like when I am sad,
This little secret no-one knows.

Up in my attic there’s a boy
He’s simply there to bring me joy.
When I’m with him my pleasure shows,

I have a lad who keeps me warm,
Holds me and never does no harm.
Although we touch, I’ve never been kissed,
Because in truth my boy does not exist.

He’s just a figment of my mind
And always helps me to unwind.
He’s a companion that I chose,

Oh dear! I think that’s teacher now,
and I haven’t yet got anywhere close to finishing
my homework and getting ready.
