SAN - Storage Area Network SANs are high-speed, high-bandwidth I/O channels (usually Fibre Channel) that connect to the back end of local area network (LAN) servers. They remove cumbersome storage functions from the server, thus improving overall LAN and WAN performance.Recently some techs where I work put the Mr Sandman WAV onto the SAN Administrator's workstation and set it to launch when this administrator logged in. This was after a particularly problemsome time he was having with the system. It is the inspiration for this song.

Guy, Sometimes "Techno-Geek" parodies make my brain lock up and crash, but with your nicely written clarifying intro and solid, straight-forward yet clever lyrics I was able to connect to your site and successfully download this neat parody thru my thick old skull. I don't even have to run a de-frag now...
