The Lyrics

Read a rumor on-line that the 'three blind mice' was a reference to 16th Century Queen "Bloody" Mary I, and her treatment of three noblemen. Anyhow, prompted me to write this. Enjoy, and check out this MAD article about it. http://www.cracked.com/article_16576_the-disturbing-origins-5-common-nursery-rhymes.html
Fable Mice
Able Thrice

Acting always so regal

Fable Mice
Able Thrice

They can hear and speak evil

Not going slow
They run to and fro

To
and fro
Un-tethered

Fable Mice
Able Thrice

They wear shades and nice sweaters

They met this ho
Who brought doom and woe

Doom
and woe
She se-vered

Sightly Mice
Slightly diced

Hate that ho-bitch for-e-ver

Thank you for the education, 2nz! Very enjoyable parody. And very interesting link, particularly the part that indicates that Bloody Mary was also the inspiration for "Mary Mary Quite Contrary."

If I recall correctly, most so-called nursery rhymes all harken back to English political scenarios (although "the cat and the rat and lovell our dog" apparently never made it to the toddler set).
