The Lyrics

Now that Xmas is over, I can submit this. I am writing this from San Antonio, Texas, where I am watching my son graduate Air Force boot camp.
On the first day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
A wet litter pocket of pee

On the second day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Two turds above
And a small little pocket of pee

On the third day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Three stench bombs
And a big litter pocket of pee

On the fourth day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Four balls of fur
And a further injection of pee

On the fifth day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Five smelly things

On the sixth day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Six craps a laying
In a risi-ing ocean of pee

On the seventh day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Seven poops a swimming
In that tub that is half full of pee

On the eighth day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Eight globs of feces
And another half gallon of pee

On the ninth day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Piles on the carpet
And another location to pee

On the tenth day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Calls from the landlord
And unbearable smells from that pee

On the eleventh day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Eviction warning
And a raging river of pee

On the twelfth day of Catbox my dear pet gave to me:
Substandard housing
On the street where I now have to pee

Hi Rick! Yes... I'm still occasionally looking at this site! Anyway... my comment: this reminds me of my cat's litterbox after being away for the holidays for a week and paying a catsitter $20 a day to, uh, do the duty. Enough said! ;-) Best wishes to you and your family.

Well, as a "Cat-Fancier" and one who is particularly partial to cat-box parodies (I really love 'em - written a couple or so myself) I really got a kick out of this one...Nice job...Congrats to Daniel (and to you, proud Papa, yourself)...he's a sharp kid...an apple that landed somewhere near the tree and has not gone rotten either...

I was wondering how you'd come up with twelve different phrases for what cats do in and around that cat box. Well done, I enjoyed this due to my firsthand experience.

I'm back from Texas. What an ordeal, we drove. I'll be on chatting soon.
