Chaney the Wolf Man
Was a frighten hairy soul
With a set of fangs, and a deadly howl
And two eyes as black as coal

Chaney the Wolf Man
Is a Universal beast
When he sees full moon
Then you'll know it's soon
That we'll gather t'ward the East

There must have been some tragic
In that werewolf Lon had found
For when it bit onto his hand
He began to act a hound

Was as man as he could be
But the children say
That there comes a day
When the moon will make him mean

Chaney the Wolf Man
Knew the moon was full that night
So he said let's run
And we'll have some fun
Now before I growl and bite

Men from the village
Wielding torches in their hands
Ran to hunt old Lon till the day was done
"Can you make this beast a man?"

Lon led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he joined the very angry mob
TIll he heard a doctor, "Stop!"

"Chaney the Wolf Man,
He can't help that he's this way"
So Lon took a drink
And his hair did shrink
He's a human being today

Thumpety thump thump
Crashity bang bang
Look at Chaney howl!
