Parody Song Title:

"Atheists Have Outlawed Christmas"

Parody Written by:

Patrick McWilliams

The Lyrics

Atheists have outlawed Christmas
Folly law law law, law law, law law
Now it's just the Winter Solstice
Folly law law law, law law, law law
Baby Jesus, such a danger!
Folly law, folly law, law law law
Strike the star and fold the manger
Folly law law law, law law, law law

'Twas a time for celebration
Folly law law law, law law, law law
Now it's wrapped in litigation
Folly law law law, law law, law law
Busybodies, agitators
Folly law, folly law, law law law
Ebeneezer imitators
Folly law law law, law law, law law

See the judge's words before us
Folly law law law, law law, law law
Secular must be our chorus
Folly law law law, law law, law law
'Ere our last tradition passes
Folly law, folly law, law law law
Kick some ACLU asses
Tra la la la la, la la la la
If you try to ban this song, I'll sicc the ACLU on you

And I heard him exclaim, as he rode out of sight: "Bah humbug you jerks, now get out of my sight!"

Thank you. That was very bad. That parody sounded like a sow giving birth to her piglet. Worst parody ever.

:-) Super write. If only it were true...
John Jenkins - December 20, 2008 - Report this comment
It is a super write. And only a slight exaggeration as many people now interpret "freedom of religion" as "freedom from religion" and ban such things as public nativity scenes.

Josh, what do you mean "Worst parody, ever"? I've written lots worse. Go back and check my record. Especially "The Fungus That Ate Kansas City"

eh dont shove your religion down my throat. If your allowed to put nativity scenes in parks, and ten commandments in courts, we should start making pentacle monuments too. But I doubt that will happen anytime soon. just right wing nu jobs sore about not being in charge anymore
