The Lyrics

In his constant (endless) repeat appearances on every possible talk show, former Governor Rod Blagojevich announced and reiterated his eagerness to take the witness stand and let the truth be known. Suddenly, he reversed his position and declined to testify in his own behalf. What could have caused this complete and unexpected change of plan? (Bleep!) How the (Bleep!) should I (Bleep!)ing know? ;D

If Blago got on the witness stand - Waa Hoo! Waa Hoo!
His words would have rung throughtout the land - (Bleep!) You! (Bleep!) You!
His language would have been out of place.
His attitude would have destroyed his case.
What a big disgrace if Blago got on the stand.

He told every single talk show host - I'm game! I'm game!
And all of us heard old Blago boast - I'll clear my name!
But then his attorney said Rod, no luck.
You cannot say three words without saying (Bleep!).
You're a total schmuck! So Blago won't take the stand.

If Blago got up to testify - they'd have a fit.
The trail may have led to the Top Guy - then there'd be (Bleep!)
And if that happened - no ifs, ands, or buts -
Then Rhambo Rahm would have cut off Rod's (Bleep!).
The unkindest cuts if Blago got on the stand.

If Blago had spoke in self defense, we'd say today
His innocence soon would be past-tense. More pay for play!
But now the evidence cannot convict
Because dear old Blago's incredibly slick.
He'll say suck my (BLEEP!) and (Bleep!) your damn witness stand!

Such stirring eloquence hasn't been heard in American government since the Nixon White House Tapes. If only Tricky Dick had been from Chicago! ;D

As one of the first Blagojevich parodists, (This Senate Seat) I congratulate you on a fine effort. A (bleeping) great song. Really kicks #@@.

Ha! That guy does have a certain talent for putting his foot in his mouth, doesn't he? This one had me chortling, and I must applaud your astute bleeping!

I hope that these hilarious verses are the last words I read about him. I'm surprised that you bleeped out nuts but not damn. 555. Charlie Rangel should be your next target!

Good parody, but the topic is a bit esoteric - a lot of people don't know who Blago is or what he is accused of.
