The Lyrics

Ever tops in funny, thoughtfulness and southern gentlemanly manners, Old Man Ribber, AKA 'The Quipmaster', leads our AmIRight pack with style and grace!
~

Oh, I’m sure you’ve heard in the Land of Ditty*
We’ve a wondrous wag who’s witty
Mocks away, shockin’ prey, Am-I’s greaaat—
Ribber Man!

When Ditty-Land I check each mornin’—
Ribber’s there, his fans adorin’
Mocks away, leadin’ fray, Am-I’s greaaat—
Ribber Man!

His spoofs span Bach through Diddy — Word play - soiree!
In Ditty Land his rep is grand—
Affirmed by ‘Fives Committee’
He flays, filets, then re-arrays old ditties
He spays cliches -- portrays ‘em without pity!

~ ~ ~

Trombonist and savant word weaver
OMR will OMG ya!
Spoof-a-day? Child’s play for our greaaat—
Ribber Man!

And once he’s set his ‘sites’ on bounders
Reprobates just swoon and founder
Hear ‘em bray, “No escaaape, ‘Bard of Prey’"—
Ribber Man!

His spoofs span Wham through Chitty — Word play - souffles!
In Ditty Land his name’s a brand
On par with Tump n’ Tiff’ny
Hooray! We say, “‘Conduct’ us to Rib’ City!”
Hooray! Feast day! Each time he posts...
A DITTY!

~

Well, as we say deep in the heart of Dixie, "You're deserving as y'all get out!" Of late, in particular, it has not gone unnoticed that you've been the glue holding these parody pages together (NOT a Foley ref!) and cranking out premium parodies one after the other at an inhuman (chelonian?) pace. You are truly a farce to be reckoned with!

Fave line and verse: "Bach through Diddy" and the entire rest of the verse. "OMR will OMG ya -- sheer genius!

Excellent tribute to hymn, who, as ewe say, is at times that Atlas supporting the AIR on his shoulders with his prolific posts and punny, comic comments! Let us hope we never see Atlas Shrug! 555, y'all!

Well Done. 555. I think when Aim i Right ever gets around to giving out an award, the statue should be called "The Ribber".
