The Lyrics
A seven year undeclared war has raged in the Southern Ocean over whaling between Japan's whaling fleet headed by the Nisshin Maru factory ship and its hunters vs the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) which has endeavored to erradicate world whaling as barbaric and an unnnecessary destruction of endangered species. The Japanese claimed research rights and the SSCS exposed them as liars for packaging whale meat for sale in Japan. Under intense opposition and years of bad press due to SSCS, this 7th season was cut short when Tokyo announced it was giving up whaling due to the constant harassment from the Sea Shepherds. This year was their worst season ever with a loss of 83% of its target number of whales for slaughter. Sea Shepherd opposition and determination forced Tokyo to declare defeat. We will all have to see if they come back next season or not... and had the SSCS not driven the Nisshin Maru back to Japan, it would not have been able to aid in the rescue missions after the Tsunami devasted Japan in March 2011. As a supporter of SSCS, I rejoice in Japan's defeat and personal victory of Paul Watson and his brave crews and their vessels the Steve Irwin, Bob Barker, and Gorija!!!

Unfortunately Tokyo is not the only ones killing whales today! :-( Just like the time when the fishermen would kill dolphins that would get tangled in their nets. Great parody Rob! 5's! :-)
Yeah, Iceland kills whales too and has never fought any real war but fought against Britain twice over fishing!!! Iceland is such a lazy nation that it lets NATO cover their defense in exchange for an airbase. It was taken by the British in 1940 to prevent the Germans from taking them. US troops arrived in 1941. As for dolphins- the Japanese continue to kill them too. If you ever see the documentary film "The Cove" you will be shocked and then angered by what the Japanese do. The cruelty is unbelievable...
