Original Performer:

Traditional

Parody Song Title:

"The President Bush Song"

Parody Written by:

Peter (the Reader)

The Lyrics

George Bush should run for a second term, contrary to what all you Republican Bashers think
My president has a first name
It's B-U-S-H Bush
My president has a second name
It's B-U-S-H Bush

Some other guy has a first name
It's G-O-R-E Gore
Some other guy has a second name
It's B-O-R-E Bore

The first guy just cannot be beat
He's B-U-S-H Bush
The second guy is a lying cheat
He's G-O-R-E Gore (Dink Dink!)

You forgot the end part of the jingle... the part that goes... "Cuz Oscar Mayer has a way with B O L O G N A"

Here's an ending... "Oh, Dubya, please go away, and give us back the U.S.A." :-)

I'm with you Peter, I love your parody, as far as I know, its the first parody that's pro-bush and I love it.

This is probably the most badly written parody I have ever read, and what is more, it has a digusting and untrue message.

If Bush does not run for a second term, I will be happy forever. If he doed run and he loses, I will be even happier forever. If he runs and he wins, I will sit for four years in mourning for the planet and wondering what this world has come to. Is it clear that I disliked this parody?

Ill weigh in...Im not the biggest fan of Bush himself, but I fell that he would be a better president than all the other canditates (and was definitly a better pres than Slick WIlly)....but anyway, Ill vote for him in 2004

To all you Democrats out there, I'm not here to bash parties - I'm not even a Republican - I just don't like Al Gore and I believe that George Bush is a Godly man and is the best option right now to lead this nation - So much for my political satire...
Ron West - May 08, 2003 - Report this comment
The current president isn't Rhodes scholar and neither is the person who wrote this parody. Bill we miss you - bring back the Rhodes scholar. Bush a godly man? - Oh yeah, that's right, God told him to start a few wars, kill a few people - oh that God.
Michael Pacholek - May 09, 2003 - Report this comment
Bush's god is Ares (Greek name, or Mars, Roman name), the god of war. Or maybe Hades/Pluto, god of the underworld and of money, the classical, pre-Christian equivalent of Satan: "Please allow me to introduce myself: I'm a man of wealth and taste." Ron West is right: The God of Abraham (Judaism, Christianity, Islam), not to mention the God of Abraham Lincoln, doesn't make people tell lies in order to go to war for greed. And Jordan is on to something: Like most post-Lincoln Republicans, Bush does have a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A.

Peter (the reader), when you said "Geroge Bush" which one do you mean, Bush Sr or W Bush? Because whenever I see/hear the name "George Bush" without a middle initial) I equate it Geroge Bush Sr because that's what HE was known as.
But you probably mean George W, right?

Why did you have to go through all of that trouble just to degrade the wonderful "B-O-L-O-G-N-A" song, eh? I mean, let's face the facts, people. No one really likes Bush, but what the hell did Gore ever do to any of us? Nothing! And why was this tune chosen for this really really really bad parody? You have ruined the song by making the spelling part of it way too long and...PS...you have left out the whole part that has the tune to "oh I love to eat it eveyday and if you ask me why I sayyy...' cause Oscar Meyer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A." You're done. You're done. Kill yourself. For real amusement, go to www.illwillpress.com Click on TOONS and listen to Foamy's Rant and Foamy's Rant 2. Would you like fries with that? Thank you. Come again.

Why do it? This really isn't a relection on Bush of any kind (although he is not the most liked man in the world). This is really a reflection on the person who wrote this. How much time do you have to spare exactly? Find a hobby. Do you know how many video games you could be playing? No, instead, you are writting really bad parodies. I bet that's a real chick magnet. Good luck with all future endeavors. And, do the world a favor, stay away from politics, parodies, comedy, etc. Bye now.

This person chiaclown33 has no idea what they are talking about. BUSH rules & GORE drools. Live with it, get over it, and move on all you GORE fans. If GORE was president, he would be sitting in the White House right now trying to figure out whether to get the pink drapes or the maroon drapes. If I were you GORE loving supporters, I would stop moaning and groaning, and be thankful that you have a president who would stop at nothing to defend his country, which just might one day save your life.

OK...El Greco. You fail...Way to write nothing about the parody. At least write about how it is pretty much the worst piece of literature ever and that the rhyme scheme is all off. But, no. All you do is defend your "great" leader and bash on chiaclown33. What are you thinking? Save yourself from the shame by never writing another critique ever again. In fact, save everyone from the pain of reading your aweful, opinionless critiques. I'm sorry, did the "Sweetie" part confuse you? My bad. Go cry to your President.

To all you unworthy peons, who think you know what you are talking about. SHUT UP! You don’t even have an inkling of what is going on. Don’t get your master angry, you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.

The funniest part about this for me is that the Peter does not even know what song he is parodying. The song is not in fact the Oscar Meyer Weiner song .. which starts "I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner..." but in fact the Oscar Meyer Bologna song ... but I guess for a W fan differentiating between meats is a difficult as differentiating between non-Christians.

At least reference the correct song you are parodying. It's the Oscar Mayer Bologna song, NOT the Oscar Mayer Weiner song. Do you know the difference between bologna and weiners?
Yipskee - January 02, 2006 - Report this comment
I thought it was a pretty cute parody, even if the pacing wasn't the best. And I do agree with it. I'm happy that Bush is president. I thought the part about G-O-R-E being a B-O-R-E was pretty funny. If you people don't like the parody, can't you just say, in a civilized, mature manner, what you don't like about it instead of bashing the parody and the person? "I hate this parody, it should die and the person writing it should die! It's the worst parody EVER! And no one likes Bush and how dare you like him and bla bla bla..." Grow up, people. And if no one really likes Bush, how come more than half of the country voted for him to be president -- twice? (And not that everyone posting negative comments was being horrible about it...just a number of people.)

Hey people, turn off the tv and look at the real world. Stop believing the media. The media looks for scandal, and when it can't find it, it makes it up. It doctors photos, prints lies, etc etc. The only reason it looks like the entire country hates Bush, is because the people that do, are bums who don't have anything else to do, and have time to make enough noise to be heard, at least by the media, which isn't saying very much. So stop listening to the bums and the media, listen to the people who know what is going on. I love the parody btw, good on ya for doing it.
