The Lyrics

This is a parody song for my niece Jennifer who loves Sesame Street. In one episode, Zoe and Elmo pretend to be aliens from the planet Kuzunka and arrive in a cardboard rocketship. They meet Big Bird and talk in Kuzunkian, exploring Sesame Street and learning new things. Their greeting is "Baloompa" which means "Hello"! It's silly... but meant for a child :)
Zoe and Elmo are so playful,
And pretending makes their day full,
Aliens to Earth they will go,
Baloompa! Baloompa! Means Hello!

Cardboard rocket ship is landing,
And Big Bird seems like a strange thing,
Kuzunkians take it slow,
Baloompa! Baloompa! Means Hello!

They are taking in all of the sights,
To try to find out what is the norm!
Animal or human? What's right?
Discovering new life forms!

Pretending is a good thing,
Imagination is never-ending
Sesame Street anything goes,
Baloompa! Baloompa! Means Hello!
