"O's Teleprompter's Broken"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

There's something wrong with Obama's teleprompter. Maybe it's out of pixie dust, or the setting got knocked off of "whimsy". More likely, after it helped him win the presidency he got all disdainful of its true powers and it has forsaken him.
 O's telepromter's  broken
No more chills from bold oration
O's teleprompter's broken
His speech now quite forlorn

He's stammering and dodging
Bores fervent flocks outright
He scolds, and acts eleven
He drones on day and night

O's telepromter's broken
Gone are the thrills and treacly cadence
O's telepromter's  broken
His groupies no longer faint

The lib'rals yawns are stifled
Then Joe Biden nods off!
It's like the mono virus
Except nobody boffed

O's telepromter's broken
Maybe it's stuck on "blame George Bush"
O's telepromter's broken
Is China where it's made

REM sleep is a huge danger
And pillows might appear
How 'bout a gov't  handout
Free earplugs for the ears

O's telepromter's broken
Giving him grief and more gray hair
O's teleprompter's broken
Might have to play more golf

Good song! Yeah, they'll probably want to put it in the Smithsonian!

I've heard of this song; Wasn't it the showstopper tune in the off-Beltway musical, "Go Tell it On the Prompter?" ... which BTW, was ranked #19 in the "Top 100 Films of the Obama Era."

Re previous BTW ... there actually was such a list compiled. Google up ""Top 100 Films of the Obama Era -- American Thinker" At the bottom of the article you'll see a list of contributors and don't be surprised if my name shows up

Thanks, Rob. Obadabing told us the mandate wasn't a tax, it's commerce. SCOTUS tells us it's a tax, not commerce. I feel like a rube.

I had a three Barry-Manilow-song gloat fest set for tomorrow to celebrate the overturning of the individual mandate. Now, I got nothing

Thanks, Jonathan! Sorry to hear that, Lennie. I've been pondering some titles for Obama's defeat in Nov., but now everythings up in the air.

Yeah, I've been working on a victory speech myself, but now it looks like this dope might actually be able to pull this out of the fire. Hope not!
