Parody Song Title:

"Walking Around With Christians Everywhere"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

All around there are people
Most of them pray at the steeple
They all worship Christ
While we pay the price
Walking around with Christians everywhere

On Christmas day all the stores close
This is something that I oppose
There’s nothing to do
Cause I am a Jew
Walking around with Christians everywhere

In the distance I can see a Hebrew
But he’s not really sure if I’m a Jew
He said are you Christian I said no man
I had a circumcision just like you

Later on we’ll catch a picture
While everyone else reads from scripture
Life is so cruel
And just like in school
I’m walking around with Christians everywhere

In the temple we can see our own kind
We’ll get each other out of our bad mood
Later we’ll get hungry and go have dinner
What else is there to eat but Chinese food?

In addition to Christmas there’s Easter Sunday
We’ll sit at home until its Monday
If you want my advice
They’re screwing us twice
Walking around with Christians everywhere
Walking around with Christians everywhere
Walking around with Christians everywhere

Sorry but the concept doesn't wash. For one thing, there are lots of people walking around neither Christian, Jew nor anything else. Some embrace Christmas, some wish it were over, and some have mixed feelings about both the secular and religious aspects.

Here in Buddhist/Shintoist Japan, they love it - the Santa costumes, the reindeer, the trees, the carols and hymns, but most of all, the shopping. Christmas night is 'lovers' night' and it's nigh impossible to get a room in a love hotel, at least for the whole night.

No offence, just explaining why this one doesn't work for me. I'll abstain from voting. Please write more.

In the days when ethnic jokes were more acceptable I heard that Jewish store keepers would stand at their cash registers singing "What a friend we have in Jesus". Perhaps you should be grateful, that unlike some of the Christian holidays, the Jewish feasts have not lost the core of their meaning to commercialization.
