The Lyrics

Until last week, author Bob Woodward had been the darling of "independent thinking voices" (my quotation marks). In some seventeen books, he exposed the Watergate scandal and brought down President Nixon, skewered The Supreme Court, the C.I.A., and both Bush presidencies, and portrayed the agendas and administrations of Presidents Clinton and Obama sympathetically. What could possibly cause his fall from grace. Woodward dared to report that the imminent sequestration "disaster" was endorsed if not largely concocted in the White House. As this contradicts the administration/media blitz of "It's The Republicans!", this formerly reliable journalistic icon is now being vilified endlessly and even threatened. Woodward is no cub reporter - if he stared down Nixon's men, he KNOWS when he's being threatened by members of an administration. Be careful Bob. Traitors don't get thrown under the bus. They get run over by the bus. ;D
Who supports sequesters?
O. loudly has denied.
Press of truth molesters
Shout "Woodward lied!".
White House vilifies Bob,
Making threats anew.
This surely was a dirty job
That Nixon couldn't do.

The Prez was stumping through the land,
Not negotiating.
Michelle was at the Oscars and
On T.V. gyrating.
Press was acting very strange,
Beating Bob with stick.
Is this Mister Hope And Change?
It seems like Tricky Dick!

Actually, it's be careful Mr. Obama. When it comes to taking down presidents, Bob Woodward's record is one for one. ;D

Very good job. I predict a new book on the horizon: "All The Presmadents Hommies" A posthumous expose'.

Give this song a five, then rack it up three times.

As Nixon would say, "Let me say this about that... 555!"

555 Ribber. Not only was Obama stumping, but he was down in Florida golfing with Tiger Woods. Don't those trips cost over a million each, with all the security. Didn't that get cut in the sequester?

Many thanks all. To paraphrase Star Trek's Doctor McCoy, "Dammit Jim! I'm a humorist, not a commentator." ;D

Now you know what Watergate would have been like if Nixon had been a Democrat. And if you're bashful, I got a snake sitting right under my desk here.
