Yeah, Jon, I'm a REP for life. Next President will face really hard decisions on the national debt approaching $20 Trillion, ISIS and lone wolf terrorism, Iran's nuke threat, N Korean missile threat to West Coast, Putin's Russian Empire expansionism, the border problem, entitlements with the baby boomers retiring in droves, and more. I favor Jeb Bush too. Trump is obviously the most intelligent and would dominate in trade and financial matters, but he is bigoted and uneven in other areas... would probably treat America like a business with himself as CEO instead of POTUS. The President must represent all Americans, so narrowing the REP field is gonna be a tough one. Most REPs just want to undo all of Obama's policies. That's popular with REPs and Right-leaning Indies, but overall is counterproductive.
