Easy one Jon. " Sit, Ubu, sit. Good dog." Is from the mascot dog black Lab Ubu Roi of Ubu Productions at the closing. Usually from "Family Ties" in the '80s! But also all of their other productions too.

I first heard this in the '80s with one of these shows: Family Ties, Shooter, Duet, Bronze Zoo, or Making the Grade. How about you Jon? Btw, my mom hated that ending!

^ you got it! what's your preference virtual cookie wise? I've got chocolate chip, oatmeal, and white chocolate macadamia! :) as far as the Ubu logo, I first saw it on Family Ties. then was reminded of it recently, via a youtube video of, get this, "scary logos!" yeah, apparently some people were frightened of the thing as a kid!
