The Lyrics

Yet another holiday favorite. I've taken some liberty with the arrangement, so the meter would be more generic. Here's a thought for all my parody writing friends - today's Christmas parodies may be tomorrow's school playground hits. "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells" had to come from somewhere.
Oh, you better believe - that this Christmas Eve,
St. Nick won't fit in your little chimney.
Santa Claus looks bigger this year.

His wife made a list - of what he can eat.
No marzipan and sugar plum treats.
Santa Claus looks bigger this year.

He can't slide down your chimney.
He won't get past the flue.
And when the firemen pry him out,
He'll be oh, so sooty, too.

Now . . .
Hide all your eggnog, and pack up your pies,
He's down at the mall - And he's seven feet wide.
Santa Claus looks bigger this year.

Prepare Jenny Craig, and Weight Watchers, too.
Leave him a salad, when he comes through, 'cause,
Santa Claus looks bigger this year.

He'll raid your kitchen pantry - deny it's for himself.
"Ol' Santa needs to feed his reindeer, and his little elves."
(Whatever!)

Help Santa trim down - He's putting on pounds.
Maybe next year down the chimney he'll bound, but,
Santa Claus looks bigger this year.
Don't you leave him pretzels and beer.
'Cause Santa's looking bigger this year.

And let's just replace the word 'old' with the word 'only', ok kids? Remember Santa's not old until he retires to Florida.
