The Lyrics

About the recent Hutton Inquiry. *Coughchoke* WHITEWASH! *Hackwheeze*
There was a young man called Andrew Gilligan,
He kicked up an awful din-egan,
Said that Tony Blair had sinned again,
Poor ol' Andrew Gilligan, begin again,

There was a young man called Andrew Gilligan,
Got Lord Hutton to look in-egan,
Will Blair lose or will he win again?
Poor ol' Andrew Gilligan, begin again,

There was a young man called Andrew Gilligan,
Couldn't cope with all the spin-egan,
BBC was dragged through **** again,
Poor ol' Andrew Gilligan, begin again,

There was a young man called Andrew Gilligan,
He was fired and not brought in again,
Notify his next of kin-egan,
Poor ol' Andrew Gilligan, begin again,

There was a young man called Andrew Gilligan,
Had to take it on the chin-egan,
But we don't believe the four-five minute thing,
Good ol' Andrew Gilligan.

Well, I liked it: not sure how many people over in the US will get the references, though: my own take on the same subject (http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/gilbertandsullivanthegondoliers0.shtml) hasn't been too well voted, which could be more to do with not enough people knowing the original. (And I just noticed I typed "Gilligan" wrong, too. D'Oh)

PS I had thought of doing this one, too, but

Once was a man called Andrew Gilligan
He had beans he had to spill again
Drag ol' Tony through the mill again
Now that Andrew Gilligan sounds shrill again

...was as far as I got - started looking good, but I couldn't think of enough to finish.
