The Lyrics

oh, i wish i was a young lad, spolied rotten
theme park trips, i would be plottin'
spend the day...spend the day...spend the day
disneyland

at disneyland, its never borin'
its a place, i'd be adorin'
spend the day...spend the day...spend the day
disneyland

i wish i was at disney
all day...all day
in disneyland, in lines i'll stand
among the crowd at disney
all day...all day
i'll spend all day at disney

i wish i was down on main street, trottin'
with a pair of ears, i've gotten
spend the day...spend the day...spend the day
disneyland

at disneyland, i'll go explorin'
through the turnstiles, folks are pourin'
spend the day...spend the day...spend the day
disneyland

i wish i was at disney
all day...all day
in disneyland, in lines i'll stand
among the crowd at disney
all day...all day
i'll spend all day at disney

First line could have been re-arranged to pace better but other than that this was good. Makes me want to take a vacation. Nice take on an old American standard.

I live about 6 miles from Disneyland and haven't been there in a while; but, as the parody clever points out, it is a great place for kids.

Then again, Denny's might be cheaper and easier! ;-D

Glory, glory, Halle Berry! Five points are marching on! (You might not get that joke if you're not an Elvis fan.) Merry: A line at Disneyland is shorter than the wait at Lenny's -- I mean, Denny's.

Very creative! When I was little I always used to sing "disney" in place of "dixie"; every time I heard "Dixieland" mentioned, I thought in my mind "Disneyland." And I have been a So-Cal resident my whole life, so I've been to Disneyland numerous times. I currently live about 80 or 90 miles northwest of DL. Anyway, I really liked this parody; it gets a 5-5-5 vote from me.
