The Lyrics

Could this be the least done Christmas Traditional? And if so, why? I say use The Dreidel every day!
I have a little dreidel
It's with me every day
And when we're feeling ready
It's always up for play

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
It's with me every day
Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
And when we can we play

Your playground is inspired
We'll take it for a spin
And if it is required
You'll take it on the chin

Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
It's with me every day
Oh, dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
And when we can we play

It's making me transpire
The peg's so long and fine
And when my dreidel's tired
It drops out of the line

Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
It's with me every day
Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
And when we can we play

My dreidel kit's attachments
They love to bounce around
Together with the dreidel
They're making clappy sounds

Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
Entendres are such fun
Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel
This dreidel's now undone

Darn twit control knocked my comment out. I didn't get this the first time through but the second time......ahem. To answer your opening comment, probably because Dreidels are Hannukah and not Christmas symbols/toys. Forget this episode of South Park?:

(may have to remove hyphens from URL as well as add the http/www parts to get the link to work)

Red Ant: Music has no religion, and it’s celebrated 365 days per year, hence the difference between Christmas and Hanukkah doesn’t matter to me!

(Wipes sweat of forehead, thinking ”nice save”)

Actually, the whole intro is meant to be part of the double entendre that carries the entire parody, this time of the year people are often too stressed to play the game of dreidel, aren’t they? :-)

Enjoyed. I kept waiting for the verse about letting others play with your dreidel :-)

Thanx Rex, maybe you missed the third one:

Your playground is inspired
We'll take it for a spin
And if it is required
You'll take it on the chin
