The Lyrics

about two battles in Scottish history I turned it into two battles between a guy and his tomboy girlfriend-she won both times
As I cam in by Thankertoon, the rain was fairly peltin doon,

tae Eamonns bar I was bound ,tae see my bird theTomboy.

She stood there in her dockers boots, her hair shaved right in tae the roots,

True it is the day I rued,I went out wi' a tomboy.

2

We were in bed for half past one,she dropped her pipe and I got burned,

A bloody battle then began, wi my bird theTomboy,

Her sweary words they were so rude,as she got inta'e me wi' the boot,

but this brave man he boldly stood, upon his bird the Tomboy.

3

But alas I could no longer stay,so I got up and ran away,

my groin it was so sore the day, that I fought wi' my Tomboy.

But full o' drink I then did say, barman please show me the way,

and I will go to win the day, against my bird the Tomboy.

4 Alas my bird you are so vain, the women cant outfight the men,

and I have come to make this plain,to you my bird the Tomboy.

My dinner hit me in a can, dessert was served in a jar of jam,

a second battle then began,wi' my bird the Tomboy.

5

The MacDonalds chapped through on the wall,The Camerons

screamed as I hit the floor,

McIntosh was at the door,as I fought wi' my Tomboy.

She boldly on my heid did dance, her knuckledusters did advance,

A heidbutt made my teeth tae dance,on the floor around my Tomboy.

6

The blood it was all o'er my clothes,as she laid in wi' mighty blows,

My lights went out upon the floor, as I fought wi' my Tomboy.

I wakened up at half past ten,the nurse she said your back again,

will you never-ever learn,never date a Tomboy.

(repeat last 2 lines)

then repeat "never date a Tomboy"(twice).
