Original Song Title:

"The Addams Family"

Original Performer:

TV Show Theme Song

Parody Song Title:

"Jackson Anomaly"

Parody Written by:

Guy DiRito

The Lyrics

This family's kind of spooky,
Jacko's afraid of nookie,
Wears fashions made by Cucchi,
Jackson anomaly

Then at the colloseum,
With Jan and Justin singin'
A peek show we we're seein'
Jackson anomaly

Meat,
Teat,
In heat.

So if you've got football on,
And they don't keep their shawl on,
Now MTV is all gone ,
Jackson anomaly

Yes - They will stop at nothing, so let's do absolutely nothing and see if they stop.

HA!! Satire like this parody could be considered a case of tit-for-tat. 5's

Dear readers,

I know I did a rotten job on the QC on this thing today. I was in a hurry to get it out before post time this morning due to it's time sensitivity. Actually I didn't expect it to do this well. Thanks to all who have read, commented and voted.

Laurance, I did see your song out there this morning when I wrote this but it is about something that happened after yours was written. My stuff gets copied all the time. I always take it as a compliment when this happens. It means you did something good enough that someone else took interest. I would have entitled it Jackson Family if you did not already have that name. I missed your parody when it first came out but it was done well. I especially liked the line about the rifle. Nice touch. I hope my song did not cause you any distress. And thanks for the votes.

Great one, Guy! I actually only saw the last (great) four minutes of the SB since technically good little LDS boys don't watch football on Sunday. But I tuned in to see if I could get a final score and the game was still on!! What was I to do?? Fortunately, I missed the JJ strip show. I never EVER watch that kind of stuff. (quickly deletes Britney-Madonna makeout pics) . . . :D

Yeah, Stray I missed it too. I had the game on and was busy with other things at half time. I decided to see what was going on when I saw who I think was Kid Rock wearing the flag after he poked a hole through it. Bad taste I thought and went to the kitchen for a snack. So by that time the game was back on and I didn't hear about the "wardrobe malfunction" until this morning when I rose for work. I had the early news on and that was the first I had heard about it. Glad to have missed that too. Kind of like seeing Lee Harvey Oswald, I guess, getting shot on live TV, which I did in 1963. Only that was just violence, so they showed it uncut over and over and over again.

SP, what do you mean - you missed my strip show... oh, the "other" JJ.

Guy, excellent parody considering how timely it is.

Nice work, Guy! 5s...

Guy: Distress? No, I too take it as a compliment, provided the song itself is original and not an obvious attempt to steal an idea. Yours was original and very good....

Guy, just saw this - good song pick - I'll now have to go and read Laurence Dunne's version.
