The Lyrics

I am the very model of an able, stable gen-i-us.
I know shit hole geography from Kenya to Niger-i-us.
And in between you find such things as Gabon and Zimbab-e-us,
As well as Congo, Senegal, Burkina, and Tanzan-i-us.
I know there’s more desirable locations in the world today
That could send us beneficial immigrants, like Nor-o-way.
I’m very well acquainted with the ladies pornographical,
And understand better than all the art of deals political.

I’m very good at blaming others for fake news rhetorical
And when the women march, I know their love for me’s historical.
In short, believe you me, and write this down on pergameneous,
I am the very model of an able, stable, gen-i-us.

I can build a wall like no one else could ever build a wall,
And make ol’ Mexico pay twenty billion dollars for it all.
I am the best creator of jobs that you will ever see.
I have the highest IQ ever in all history.
I know of all the presidents from Reagan to Obamana,
And golfers at my resorts in New Jersey and in Florida.
I can tell you ev’ry detail of the new taxation law
While sitting in the whirlpool at the Mar-a-Lago spa.

I can recite the names of Senators, Dem and Republican,
Like Chuckie, Dickie, Flakey, and the one from Michigan.
In short, believe you me, and you can trust me when I tweet for us,
I am the very model of an able, stable, gen-i-us.

Inadequate rhyming.

This ain't a full blown Major General's Song. You're missing a stanza for one thing, and also the final part of each stanza. This is an echelon below Major General. More like a Full Bird Colonel's Song

OTOH, even a truncated Major Generals Song is a better than average effort; it just doesn't break into Big Seven territory
Sullivan and Gilbert - January 23, 2018 - Report this comment
True, it's not complete, but what's there is very good.

what's the Big Seven?
!@#$% - January 23, 2018 - Report this comment
Big Seven -- Seven songs of sufficient length and complexity that they serve as a standard for song parody mastery. And they are: The Wreck of The Edmund FitzGerald, American Pie, Major General's Song, Be Our Guest, Blinded By The Light, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Bohemian Rhapsody

Not a complete parody but still the best one of the day, the title sub is just perfect.
