Even the pacing was bad, so this score is on merit. Let's see, economy growing, jobs being created (admittedly, not fast enough, but they're coming), health coverage for over 30 million previously uninsured Americans, Iraq War ended, Osama bin Laden killed... That is NOT an America in decline. And he was born in Hawaii and proved it, sucker. Seriously, Robert, if you want to fill Malcolm Higgins' shoes, at least be funny. He was. Much of the time.

First of all, how could Obama remedy in 2 years all the abuses, decline and corruption of 20? Yes the economy is still in rotten shape but it has been for over 10-15 years or more. It's going to be a long time before we're out of the woods totally but the auto company bailouts have kept things from getting worse. Yes bin Laden is dead, he was the real enemy. I don't care who the prez is that gets the credit but Obama did in 2 years what Bumble-Butt wouldn't do in 8. As for Obama being a showman that he is. He's got the smarts, the finesse and the charm for the job. That doesn't necessarly mean that he's honest and good 24/7/365 ( just what IS this Libya biz about, anyway?) but a master showman he is. Just like you did a masterful parody of a great Christmas TV tradition.
