The Lyrics

Here is the song that was all about a three-eyed ghost.
In the middle of a south Georgia mid-falltime night
A three-eyed ghost was by the old spook born
And as she looked onto their family
The ghosts rang out double
And she was dead in the meadow by the morning

Before the night had lifted the weasels picked her clean
And the old snacks have eaten to themselves to lay in hay and bleed
As he walked out that morning, the old ghost didn't look to see
Out-of-season sweet persimmons in the old pumpkin
And I know scattered o’er the Halloween time
There are frightening nights to find
Bones of candy looked too soon, ghosts too strange to survive
Born only meat for ghosts or born a night to haunting time
Still there were six eyes shining bravely in the meadow that night

The three-eyed ghost was found by the old man
In a ditch by the shadow in the nght
And as he make the nights and screamed
Said "Even dogs can make a screwup"
He overlooked an ordinary thing
Twice the pumpkin looking in the old growth tree
