Whoa. A comment from C4P collecting dust for 10 months. Thanx, Monkey man.

Johnny Deet approves. This sounds great, Robert. You produce professional-quality recordings. Can you describe your hardware and software setup for me? I would like to record more of my own stuff, and I am prepared to invest in the appropriate technology. Do you perform your own instrumentals and layer-in your own multiple tracks yourself, or do you have some magic software for that? And do you have a frickin' massive karaoke library, or what? Inquiring minds want to know! We can take this conversation off-line if you wish. Thanks!

Thanx, Johnny Deet. Robert Lund is a radio guy who makes his living doing stuff like musical spots for DJs, advertisements, etc. Not a bad gig. He has a studio and builds all of his recordings from the ground up - plays the guitars, sings the vocals, and uses a keyboard for most of the other instruments. He mixes it all on a computer. Not sure what software he uses, but I'm sure there are a few kinds out there.

Thanks Spaff. Mr. Lund's comedy song recordings, then, are constructed using the tools of his trade...makes sense to me now. I'm even more impressed, now that I know that RL plays all his own musical accompaniments and mixes them all together himself on a computer. I guess my own major limiting factor is my lack of musical instrument-playing skill. Most of the rest I could buy --- but money can't buy me musical-instrument-love, no no no, ohhh.
