Image Parodies -> Album Covers -> E -> Emerson Lake and Palmer - Trilogy

Albums aren't only known for their artwork, they can also be well known for an iconic piece of artwork that adorns the cover. Here at amIright, we're not content with parodying just the music and lyrics of songs, we need the whole package! So we've begun replacing the artwork on the various artist summary pages with new album covers submitted by visitors to the site.

The first image on the page is for Emerson Lake and Palmer - Trilogy, followed by the original. Also check out the most recent parody covers submitted to the site.

I would've gone with Ricky or Veronica Lake and Armold Palmer but still worth three 5s.
Warren Baker - April 16, 2010 - Report this comment
Yeah, William Blake is a little more obscure to most, and Ricky would have been more recognizable. Thanks for the v/c, Tor.

I don't care for this, who are these people supposed to be?
Warren Baker - April 21, 2010 - Report this comment
Oh well, Blargg. Can't win 'em all (or even a few!). Ralph Waldo Emerson (poet, philosopher), William Blake (poet, painter, very weird guy), and llama (star of stage, screen, and many Monty Python skits).

CUIDADO - LLAMAS!

Hi Warren....I like your ideas, and your execution is pretty good...except your covers are often way too big! You need to resize them to match the original covers from Amazon. 333

This is still on the main page, guess noone sends in album covers anymore.

Jonathan- llamas llamas llamas aiiieeee!
Kristoff- Thanks for the notes and the comment about the picture size. I'll have a solution for that next time around. Much appreciated.
Blargg- FWIW, I just started submitting in October, so I'm not sure how long the normal postings lasted prior to that. Since October, they seem to last about a week and a half or so on the front page.

I'm getting really sick of staring at this one. Won't someone else send one in? I learned about Emerson before, never knew he was so ugly. And William Blake also is really ugly, so it's awful having to look at them on the site everyday. The llama looks ok. The material you had to work with is not your fault. Thanks for telling me who they are.
