With their feet full of tar and their hair full of sand,
the boys know the surf like the palm of their hand
They don't know it like the BACK of their hand?

Beach Boys',
"Don't Talk (Put your head on my shoulder)"
Being here with you feels so right, we could live forever tonight.
It's a beautiful song, but how can you live forever in one night?

Well, since she put me down, I've been out doin' in my head.
Out doing what? I love this song, but this line doesn't make sense to me. "Doin' in my head"? Seems like a particular word is missing from this line.

Off the Florida Keys there's a place called Kokomo
The only thing off the Florida Keys is water, and lots of it. And as for as I know, the only place in the United States called Kokomo is in Indiana, which is in the middle of the freakin' heartland for crying out loud! But if that's where you want to go to get away from it all, Google says that place called Kokomo is about 1,407 miles off the Florida Keys. I wouldn't count on hearing the rhythm of a steel drum band in the middle of some cornfield.

Well, way up North where the air gets cold,
There's a tale about Christmas that you've all been told.
And a real famous cat all dressed up in red
And he spends the whole year workin' out on his sled.
"Famous 'cat'"? Santa Claus is a cat? Well Ho, Ho, Meow, Meow!

With a half a dozen deer with Rudy to lead.
I thought Santa had 9 reindeer?? 'Half a dozen' is only 6. Maybe they failed math? (By the way, Rudy is short for Rudolph, so don't question that part.)

I have watched you on the shore
Standing by the ocean's roar
A roar is a sound, not an object or location. How do you stand next to it? Perhaps Mike Love means a portion of the ocean which is making a loud sound?

I tell you surfing's mighty wild.
It's getting bigger every day,
From Hawaii to the shores of Peru.
Between Hawaii and Peru, there's mostly open ocean. That's not where folks typically surf. I'm pretty sure that neither when the song came out, nor at any other time, all that open ocean was a place where surfing could be said to be "getting bigger every day", nor was it an any sense "mighty wild." That being said, did the group ever need to change its name from "The Beach Boys" to "The Open Ocean Boys"?

I wish that every kiss was never-ending
No kiss can last forever. So this wish can't ever come true.
