He couldn't have died and be singing about it. And even if he did die, it couldn't have started the whole world living. There would have been living things and beings in the world already before his death, and only they and their progeny would go on living.

What is the most implausible thing here? Is it that one could die and thereby start the whole world living? Or that one could die and know that one's death started the whole world living? Or that one could die and then sing about one's death and how it started the whole world living?

When the Brothers Gibb wrote songs, they came up with the melody first, then would make the lyrics fit the melody. (They discuss this in their biographical video 'Keppel Road.') Unfortunately, sometimes this practice would result in grammatical nightmares like the one here, from the 1993 album "Size Isn't Everything."

To take your heart away I've always wondered how it can be possible to take someone's heart away by the power of words. Does one shout them loud enough that the sound waves create oscillations, causing the heart to jitter so uncontrollably that it results in it being forced up one's throat and ejected from the mouth? Even then, doesn't this mean that the person will die? Not the most romantic of lyrics, I think.
