Why They're Nonsensical:
What possible reason in anything reported in the first two lines above would give anyone cause to stare at the two participants in the activities as if they "were both quite insane".? Great song generally, but I'm afraid that the last line cited above is a product of desperately groping for a line to fill in to complete a chorus.
