Hello, Hello
I don't why you said goodbye, I say Hello.
C'mon, don't reject him by saying goodbye!

I'm a loser and I've lost someone who's near to me
I'm a loser and I'm not what I appear to be
Obviously the song is about someone who feels he's a loser, but it's upbeat and fast.

I'm a loser... I'm a loser...
And I'm not what I appear to be
...
I could have posted the whole song here, all the lyrics are quite depressing... ;-)

I'm down (I'm really down)
I'm down (I'm really down)
How can you laugh when you know I'm down?
Because the words are sung almost happily which isn't quite right when you're singing 'I'm down'

Bang bang, Maxwell's silver hammer came down on her head
Bang bang, Maxwell's silver hammer made sure that she was dead.
It's about a serial killer brutally murdering people with a hammer. Yet it's also upbeat and cheeky, with anvil sound effects accompanying the "bang bang" onomatopoeia.

You'd better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand, little girl
I catch you with another man
That's the end, little girl
I'd rather see you dead, little girl
Than to be with another man
You'd better keep your head, little girl
Or you won't know where I am
John was singing about murdering his ex-girlfriend — in an upbeat tone! Creepy!!

And in the end, the love you take,
is equal to the love you make.
This was the very last song that the Beatles recorded, on their last album. It's uplifting and yet sad at the same time.

Yes I'm lonely, wanna die...
A great blues rythm, and really, really depressing lyrics...

Please don't wear red tonight,
This is what I said tonight.
For red is the color that makes me blue,
In spite of you it's true.
Yes it is, It's true.
Yes it is, it's true.
The song is about a man who is in love with this woman...but still can't get over the one that he lost when red is mentioned. Well...if she only had a red dress, then you can see the door closing on you faster than you can say 'Yes it is'!

When I call you up, your line's engaged.
I have had enough, so act your age.
We have lost the time, that was hard to find.
And I have lost my mind, if you won't see me.
This is about a woman who won't talk to this person. Yes, this has that Beatle-esque charm and upbeat music. But if you really hear the lyrics, you'd feel sorry for him.
