Ever hear an unbeat song with very depressing lyrics?

Damn all these beautiful girls
They only wanna do you dirt
They'll have you suicidal, suicidal
When they say it's over
First, I would like to thank ChuckyG for adding on this category, because these lyrics are right up its alley: The melody is almost more R&B than rap, and is surprisingly upbeat, yet it features lyrics like the ones above. A (sort of) happy little ditty about how depressed you are about break-ups? That's just nuts.

Fire burning, fire burning on the dance floor
This should have been the theme song to every nightclub fire. And I think we all know how bad nightclub fires can get. And yet people dance to this song at parties, ignoring the lyrics!

We can roll to the slums, where killers get hung.
Surely I can take you there.
The music to this song is so upbeat, bouncy, catchy and fun. And Sean Kingston sounds so cheerful through the whole thing. It's a song about hanging out with your girlfriend and taking her wherever she wants to go and just having fun. But there's nothing happy or fun about killers getting hung, I mean come on! I like Sean Kingston. He's obviously a very talented guy for being so young. But what kind of girl wants to go hang around in the slums and watch killers get hung? Sorry Sean, but no girls I know are into gruesome stuff like that. Maybe they were really desperate for a word to rhyme with slums when they wrote the song. But that's just stupid.
